Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 · 32 bit
Windows 7, 8 or a 32-bit PC?
The standard launcher requires 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. On Windows 7, 8 and 8.1, or on a 32-bit PC, use this compatible launcher instead.
- Download and extract the full client as usual.
- Download the launcher for your system (64-bit or 32-bit).
- Put it inside the client folder, the same folder that contains
bin_imperiaworld.exe. - Start it instead of
ImperiaWorld_Launcher.exe.
Not sure if your Windows is 32 or 64-bit? Right-click Computer, choose Properties and look at System type. If in doubt, choose 32-bit: it works on both.
How to install
download
Download the ZIP file. If it stops, resume it from your browser's download list: it continues where it left off.
Extract
Right-click the ZIP and choose Extract all. Pick a folder outside Program Files, for example C:\Games.
Launch
Open the ImperiaWorld folder and run ImperiaWorld_Launcher.exe. It checks for updates and downloads only what is missing.
Play
Press PLAY in the launcher, log in with your account and enter the game.

Troubleshooting
The launcher does not open
1) Wait up to 30 seconds after the first double-click: the first start is slow, do not open it again. 2) If Windows shows a warning, click More info, then Run anyway. 3) Check that the antivirus has not blocked or deleted it. 4) On Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, or on a 32-bit PC, use the compatible launcher: 64 bit · 32 bit. Put it in the client folder and start it. 5) Still stuck? Write to us on Discord.
Windows shows "Windows protected your PC"
Click More info, then Run anyway.
The antivirus blocks or deletes a file
Add the ImperiaWorld folder to the antivirus exclusions, then start the launcher again: it restores any missing file.
Starting the game opens the launcher
That is expected: the game always starts from ImperiaWorld_Launcher.exe, so you always play with the latest update. Create your desktop shortcut on the launcher.
The ZIP is damaged or does not extract
The download is incomplete. Download it again and compare its SHA-256 with the one shown above, using the command: certutil -hashfile ImperiaWorld_Client.zip SHA256
I already have the client installed
You do not need to download it again: start ImperiaWorld_Launcher.exe and it updates the game. The old Autopatcher.exe and Autopatcher2.exe are no longer needed and can be deleted.
